Question by reallyfedup: Do you think it is acceptable to take a baby or toddler out in public in only a diaper?
I get so disgusted when I see someone with a baby or toddler who is dressed only in a diaper. This is really gross when they put them in a shopping cart where you put food (yes some of us put food on the top area) and I have seen kids in diapers running around the stores. I think you should put some clothes on your child. It is just not acceptable to go out in your underwear especially when you poop in it. Children need to have something on even if it is a sleepsuit .

Question by justathought: Baby Diaper Question: Name brand, Online discount, or no name brand?
I currently buy, or should I say daddy buys, the Wal-mart brand – parents choice. They are affordable – the small pack of size 2, 48 quantity, costs only .00 or .00. the big box of size 3, 104 quantity was like .00 – and they are velcro tabs.

Well, I was looking up these diaper discount online services and was thrown at how expensive they are, but they all compare themselves to the name brand, but better. I guess compared to Huggies prices at the store, they are cheaper to buy in bulk in the online diaper brand.

But, where I spend on generic diapers – I’d spend online.

So, I was wondering what is your opinion? I want to save money – but i am not going to put my daughters well-being 2nd. Heck, I buy johnson and johnson and also (mainly) aveeno baby products only for her and we buy huggies natural care wipes.

Answer by kingsnake1650You are NOT harming your daughter’s well-being by using Walmart brand diapers! The only person you may be hurting is yourself because of having to wash out more baby clothes that have been leaked on. And honestly, I don’t think Huggies are that great either, leak-wise. Don’t waste your money.

A local business friend has recently BECOME A FATHER (this family’s third time.)
A few business friends and I are planning a Baby Diaper Party for him and his wife, soon.
His son was born healthy @ 11 pounds.
Now, being three weeks later (and I am diaper-shopping – I am a life-long batchelor!) I am seeking suggestions!
What types (size-spec’s, materials, styles; or colors??) of diapers would be most HELPFUL for the new arrival and family?

Answer by ThatCaliMomPersonally when it comes to disposables we prefer pampers. That is a big baby and I am willing to bed that everyone gave them the smaller sizes. Why not get them a box of size 3 cruisers? My best friends baby seemed to be in size 3 forever! (we use cloth so I am not totally sure). But I think it would be nice to get some bigger diapers too!
